Cash Flow & Liquidity Management
- Monitor daily cash and bank positions across the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and 3-month rolling cash flow forecasts.
- Consolidate expected customer collections, supplier payments, payroll, tax payments, loan repayments, and other major cash commitments.
- Monitor actual cash flow against forecast and highlight significant variances or potential funding gaps to the Finance Manager.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity is available to support daily operations and planned business requirements.
Collections, Payments & Working Capital
- Monitor customer collection status and follow up with the relevant teams on overdue or significant receivables.
- Coordinate payment planning based on available cash, due dates, and approved priorities.
- Monitor major supplier commitments and upcoming payment requirements.
- Support working capital improvement initiatives by improving cash visibility, collection timing, and payment planning.
- Coordinate intercompany fund transfers and maintain proper supporting records.
Banking & Financing Support
- Maintain day-to-day communication with banks and financial institutions.
- Monitor banking facilities, loans, repayment schedules, interest charges, and facility utilisation.
- Prepare supporting documents for banking facility applications, renewals, reviews, and other treasury-related requests.
- Maintain updated records of bank accounts, authorised signatories, credit facilities, and financing terms.
- Support the Finance Manager in banking, financing, and treasury-related matters.
Treasury Reporting & Controls
- Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash position, cash flow forecast, collection status, major payment commitments, and financing schedules.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for treasury transactions and fund movements.
- Ensure treasury transactions comply with the Group's approval matrix, policies, and internal controls.
- Monitor banking access and assist in maintaining appropriate segregation of duties for payment and bank transactions.
- Support internal and external audit requirements relating to cash, banking, and treasury activities.
Budget, Forecast & Tax Cash Planning
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast activities by providing cash flow and funding information.
- Monitor CP204 tax instalment schedules and other statutory payment requirements for cash flow planning purposes.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team to ensure major tax, payroll, and statutory obligations are incorporated into the cash forecast.
- Provide early warning of potential cash shortages, surplus funds, or significant changes in cash requirements.
Process Improvement & Coordination
- Work closely with Accounts, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and subsidiaries to improve the accuracy of cash flow information.
- Support standardisation and continuous improvement of treasury and cash management processes across the Group.
- Assist in digitalisation and automation initiatives relating to cash flow reporting, banking, and treasury operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, cash management, or corporate banking support.
- Hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, banking operations, payment planning, and working capital monitoring.
- Good understanding of banking facilities, loans, interest charges, and financing documentation.
- Knowledge of Malaysian tax payment requirements, including CP204, is an advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in accounting or ERP systems.
- Good analytical, organisational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential financial information.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
