  • Maintaining enterprise LLM gateway and SDK
  • Developing and maintaining the workflow runtime
  • Developing and maintaining the shared services used by AI agents

The ideal candidate is a strong Python engineer with backend or platform engineering experience, coupled with practical exposure to AI-powered products, LLM applications, or GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining enterprise LLM gateway and SDK
  • Developing and maintaining the workflow runtime
  • Developing and maintaining the shared services used by AI agents
  • Cross-cutting platform concerns that fall to the Core Team: multi-tenancy, rate limiting, quota enforcement, usage metering, and the internal APIs that expose all of it.
  • Build shared platform capabilities for AI applications including model provider gateways, workflow runtime, subscription and entitlement handling, agent harness features, and file management systems.

Skills (Must Have)

  • 2-6 years of Backend Engineering, Software Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience.
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
  • Strong API design and backend system development experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining production backend applications, services, or APIs.
  • Ability to independently own and deliver engineering components.
  • Practical exposure to AI-powered applications, GenAI products, LLM integrations, copilots, or AI workflows.
  • Strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

Skills (Good To Have)

  • AWS AgentCore exposure.
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience.
  • Workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal, Airflow, or Step Functions.
  • Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI platforms.
  • Databricks exposure.
  • Multi-tenant platform experience.
  • TypeScript, Fastify, or Next.js experience.
  • Internal platform, SDK, or developer tooling experience.
