Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Biology to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective instruction, develop course materials, supervise students, and contribute actively to the academic community at DISTED College.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in biology and related fields.

· Develop, update and review course content, ensuring alignment with academic standards and industry needs.

· Design, administer, and evaluate assessments, examinations, and student projects.

· Provide academic supervision and mentorship to students, including project guidance and pastoral support.

· Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and quality assurance initiatives.

· Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in the field.

· Contribute to curriculum enhancement and the development of new academic programs where applicable.

Requirements:

· A Master’s degree in Biology from a recognized university

· A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related discipline

· Strong knowledge and understanding of the A-Level and SACE Biology curriculum and subject content.

· Strong command of written and spoken English.

· Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented academic environment Ability to work effectively as part of a team

· Both experienced professionals and fresh Master’s graduates are encouraging to apply.
