What You'll Do:
- Lead the full spectrum of GL activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting books, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support statutory reporting
- Review GST and corporate tax workings and submissions
- Manage internal and external audit engagements and ensure proper documentation and controls
- Provide technical accounting advice and partner with business teams on new projects and commercial initiatives
- Analyse monthly financial results, track key financial KPIs, and support budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and drive process improvements, system enhancements, and finance workflow setup
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Accountancy/Business from a reputable University
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience in the Big Four audit firms, with a proven track record in budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in financial modelling, business performance analysis, and investment decision support desirable
- Strong adaptability to different job scopes for internal rotation
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner with ability to adapt
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for details
- Effective team player, highly motivated and independent
- Independent self-starter
- Proficient in Microsoft office
