VACANCY: ASSISTANT SITE ENGINEER

Location: Kuala Perlis, Perlis
Employment: Full-Time (Contract)

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Assistant Site Engineer to join our team in Kuala Perlis. The successful candidate will assist in managing site activities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising and coordinating daily construction activities.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site personnel.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, work progress, and claims.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams.
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction/civil engineering, preferably in site supervision or management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering practices, and site operations.
• Good understanding of safety standards, building regulations, and construction requirements.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant construction/project management software.
• CIDB Certification is essential.
• BEM registration or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
• OSH-related certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to work on-site and travel when required.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
