About the role

As a CSA Engineer / Site Engineer at Shimizu Corporation, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects in Selangor. This role is ideal for candidates with strong site coordination experience and a solid understanding of civil, structural, and architectural works, supporting the delivery of developments to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate CSA works to ensure progress meets project schedule, quality standards and technical requirements.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and work procedures.

• Conduct site inspections to identify construction issues, non-conformities or deviations, and follow up on corrective actions.

• Ensure inspections and testing are carried out in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and relevant quality requirements.

• Review drawings, technical documents and site conditions to support smooth construction execution.

• Maintain proper site records, progress reports, inspection documentation and document control.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure effective coordination and timely resolution of site matters.

• Provide technical guidance and support to supervisors, junior engineers and site personnel.

• Ensure compliance with QESH policies, client requirements, statutory regulations and project procedures.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably in civil, structural and architectural works.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and other technical documents

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements in construction.

• Able to work independently and in a team-oriented site environment.
