About the role

Elepoint Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented System Admin IT Support to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality IT support and system administration services to our clients in Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of hardware and software systems

• Microsoft on-premise servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server, etc.)

• Office 365 user registration, licensing, and usage (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)

• File server access, permissions, and migration between on-premise and cloud

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop environments (Windows)

• Document support cases and update knowledge base

• Escalate unresolved issues when necessary

• Perform system administration tasks, including user account management, software installation and updates, and backup and recovery procedures

• Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure optimal system uptime

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based services

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical problems and find innovative solutions

• Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems and applications

• Maintain detailed documentation and records of IT support activities and resolutions

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles

• Technical knowledge on Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022 (on-premise)

• Office 365 admin portal and services

• Good understanding of networking (IP, routing, firewalls, VPN)

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Windows and Linux-based systems, network devices, and cloud-based technologies

• Basic Experience with backup systems, security solutions (e.g., antivirus, firewall)

• Familiar with hybrid environments (on-premise + cloud)

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and implementing effective solutions

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with users and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Certification in relevant IT disciplines, such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications, would be an advantage
