Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Manufacturing team at All for Asian Future. This role focuses on CNC programming, machine setup, and producing high-precision components by interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient and high-quality machining processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications accurately.
- Plan machining processes including tool selection, cutting parameters, and operation sequencing.
- Simulate and verify toolpaths to ensure accuracy and avoid machine collisions.
- Support machinists during setup, trial runs, and first-article inspections.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and continuously improve cycle time and tool performance.
- Maintain proper documentation such as CNC programs, setup sheets, and tool lists.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve machining efficiency and product quality.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in CNC programming (milling and/or turning).
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software; Mastercam is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and GD&T.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup and operation is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
