We're partnering with a high-performing technology team looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with deep Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
You'll work across modern cloud-native applications, building scalable backend services and intuitive front-end solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across the full development lifecycle, and contributing to modern engineering practices.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications on GCP
• Build and enhance backend services using Node.js and Java
• Develop modern front-end applications using React
• Work across APIs, microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Collaborate with product, engineering and DevOps teams
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, optimise and improve system performance

 
Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Solid backend development experience with Node.js and Java
• Front-end development expertise with React
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalable systems
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

 
Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to serverless technologies on GCP
• Knowledge of security, authentication and cloud governance
• Previous experience in enterprise or fast-paced delivery teams
