Job Description

  • Pivotal member of a lean and efficient finance team, capable of supporting the growth of a dynamic business whilst maintaining appropriate financial governance and controls
  • Be instrumental in helping F&B company defining leading practice and driving out key improvements through simplification and standardisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing.
  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and reporting
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Identify and lead key finance projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks to secure optimal financing services
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Explore and implement technological solutions to streamline financial processes


Job Requirements

  • Seasoned Finance professional with experience in finance operations and accounting. Proven experience in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing processes is essential.
  • Proactive, positive and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess excellent organisation skills, able to work flexibly to lead projects and demonstrate critical thinking to solve problems, as well as a willingness to roll up one's sleeves
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in F&B or retail industry would be advantageous
  • Proven team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of at least 7-8 members
