About The Role

As a NQAC Lab Technician Grade 2 (Microbiology Lab) at Nestlé Malaysia, you will be responsible for performing essential laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of Nestlé's products. This full-time position is based in Shah Alam, Selangor, and is crucial in upholding Nestlé's high standards of food quality and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting various microbiological tests and analyses on food and beverage samples
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments with precision
• Documenting and recording test results accurately in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Participating in the development and implementation of new testing methods and protocols
• Ensuring the lab environment is clean, organised and compliant with safety regulations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
• Providing technical support and training to other lab staff as needed
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar laboratory setting
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation such as microscopes, autoclaves, and analytical instruments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality management systems
