Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer the project under Infrasel Sdn Bhd
  • Ensure all company transactions with Strategic Partners are conducted smoothly and in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Optimize the company’s allocated budget to achieve targeted profit, cost management, and operational planning goals.
  • Ensure all company assets and employees are properly supervised and managed.
  • Provide full commitment and coordination with technical partners and other departments in planning and executing work programs as directed by the Operations Director.
  • Uphold and represent the company’s image professionally when dealing with Technical Departments and Government Agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate integrity, discipline, and transparency in performing assigned duties.
  • Record and prepare written reports for all incidents received from technical partners or government agencies within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Plan and review equipment requirements for road maintenance works.
  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BQ) for road maintenance works.
  • Review and obtain quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers for project implementation.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure that all works carried out by technical partners and contractors comply with required specifications.
  • Continuously review and improve work practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare memos, letters, and supporting documents related to payments to service providers involved in the project.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments throughout road maintenance operations.
  • Record and review all claims received from technical or strategic partners before submission for approval by superiors.
  • Participate in company- or partner-organized activities with contractors.
  • Attend training sessions and career development programs organized by the company.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by superiors or other departments, provided they comply with company SOPs and policies.
  • Undertake any other instructions or tasks from the employer/supervisor that are in line with company and Shariah principles.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent fields.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years working experience in quantity surveying, preferably within infrastructure and road maintenance projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, cost estimation, and project budgeting.
  • Proficient in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents, and cost analysis.
  • Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with technical partners, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Possess high integrity, discipline, and commitment to work quality.
