Interior Design Internship
Skuad Dekorasi (M) Sdn Bhd

Duration: 3 - 6 Months

Students in Diploma/Degree (Interior Design / Architecture)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and creative Interior Design Intern to join our dynamic team! You will support the design and project department in creating exciting design concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting in real project executions from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in preparing design proposals, mood boards, and presentations for clients
• Produce 2D layout plans, 3D visuals, and technical drawings using design software
• Support material selection, sample preparation, and coordination with suppliers
• Participate in site visits, take measurements, and monitor design installation progress
• Assist in documentation tasks such as BOQ, costing, and project filing
• Support in marketing-related creative design when required
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and client requirements

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, etc.)
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Team player with good communication and time-management skills
• Able to work onsite; possession of a valid driving license is an added advantage
