About the role

The Intern, Analytical will be responsible for providing support in analytical method development, analytical method validation and routine testing in the analytical R&D department.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Provide support in analytical testing, including but not limited to water content test, assay, related substances and dissolution test.
• Involved in daily laboratory operation work, including cleaning and maintenance of the instrument in the laboratory.
• Assist in loading and withdrawal of R&D samples from the stability chamber.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of all chemicals used in the lab.
• Ensure proper documentation and data entry of all test results.
• Ensure compliance to current Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Adhere to good laboratory practices in accordance with Novugen guidelines.
• Strictly follow data integrity policies to ensure compliance.
• Complete required GXP training/SOP training within the scheduled timeframe.
• Ensure lab cleanliness, personal safety, and overall lab safety.
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management

About you

• Has Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Business studies or equivalent.
• Must be available for 6 months internship duration
• Basic knowledge of analytical testing and instrumentation (eg: HPLC, UVspectrophotometer, dissolution tester, etc.)
• Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in high-pressure and ambiguous environments and work towards delivering results
• Proficient communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Base Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
