Responsibilities

Accounts/Admin Intern (Special Needs School)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts/Admin Intern to manage our finance system and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations at our special needs school. This role will combine both finance and school administration responsibilities, offering a valuable learning opportunity in a meaningful education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Support

  • Assist the Finance Executive in preparing and maintaining financial records, invoices, and payment schedules.
  • Support with data entry, bookkeeping, and accounting software.
  • Help reconcile bank statements, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Organize and maintain financial documents (both physical and digital).
  • Participate in audits and compliance activities when required.

School Administration Support

  • Assist with managing the student/teacher management system, including attendance, progress notes, and class schedules.
  • Help coordinate therapy timetables (speech, occupational, early intervention) and ensure smooth session scheduling.
  • Support in preparing and distributing parent communications, circulars, and billing notices.
  • Maintain student records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with organizing school events, workshops, and parent meetings.
  • Provide support for staff administrative needs (e.g., leave records, training schedules).
  • Help ensure the smooth running of daily school operations such as reception duties, filing, and office coordination.
  • Assist teachers and therapists with resource preparation (printing worksheets, managing materials, setting up classrooms).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
