Our client is the Malaysian subsidiary of a global technology leader in precision instruments and solutions for positioning, surveying, construction, and eye care. The Malaysian office serves as a regional sales and support hub, delivering high-quality products and services across these sectors.

Position: Regional System Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and technically competent IT Executive to provide end-to-end IT support across multiple business entities. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, deliver timely technical assistance to users, and contribute to continuous improvements in the overall IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues independently, particularly within Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Maintain IT assets, perform routine system updates, and ensure security patches are applied.
• Monitor and enhance IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Maintain clear communication with users regarding issue status and resolution progress.
• Lead and support regional IT system implementations and rollouts across multiple sites or countries.
• Work closely with regional stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure smooth system deployment.
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting during project implementation phases.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and issue resolution.
• Support IT projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Gather user feedback and contribute to initiatives that enhance overall IT service quality.
• Ensure system performance, availability, and security compliance during and after implementation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and IT hardware.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure.
• Experience supporting system implementation, rollout, or regional IT projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting multi-location or regional environments is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
