Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to support our IT department with a primary focus on computer hardware, system migration, and technical troubleshooting. This role provides hands-on experience in maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and assisting with hardware-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals)
• Support computer migration activities, including data transfer, system setup, and user profile configuration
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics for faulty devices
• Provide first-level technical support to users (onsite and remote)
• Help with hardware upgrades, replacements, and inventory management
• Assist in setting up workstations, including cabling and network connections
• Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
• Support IT team in routine maintenance and system checks
• Ensure proper handling and tracking of IT equipment.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
• Familiar with troubleshooting techniques for common hardware/software issues
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Willing to be based at Seksyen 26, Shah Alam.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM900.00 - RM901.00 per month
