Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Finance role based in Sepang. The primary responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. The role involves preparing financial reports, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Assistant Manager Finance will also assist in cash flow management, oversee internal audits, and collaborate with various departments to optimise financial performance.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consulting-standard management/proposal decks, reports, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain company-wide accounting systems, policies, procedures, and performance tracking systems.
• Assist management in reviewing overall organisational structure, processes, assets and workforce to make recommendations for optimisation.
• Prepare all submission documents for Open Tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Gather and analyse finance, HR, and operational data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Support the CEO and senior management on project monitoring and business transformation planning and execution.

Qualification

• Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Accounting, and Forecasting skills
• Experience in full sets of accounts, Cash Flow Management and Financial Reporting
• Proficiency in Financial Software and Advanced Microsoft Office skills to prepare management reports and presentation decks, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, SQL, XERO, SAP, or QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards and Regulatory Compliance
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to also handle confidential matters.
• Excellent communication skills to aid top management in decision-making and for cross-departmental collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience; a managerial role within the finance domain is a plus
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Experience in consulting, process improvement, or organisational development will be an advantage.

Employment Type: Full‑time

• Salary Range: RM 5,000–6,500 per month (commensurate with experience)
