As part of its next phase of transformation, the company is strengthening its CEO Office with a key hire to support corporate strategy, fundraising readiness, and investor relations activities.
Role Overview
The Corporate Strategy & Development Manager will play a critical role in shaping the company’s pre-IPO journey. This individual will support strategic planning, investor engagement, equity fundraising activities, and executive-level reporting, while working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team.
The role combines corporate strategy, capital raising support, and investor relations, with strong exposure to board-level discussions and high-impact strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy & Planning
- Support the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic roadmap
- Drive annual operating plans (AOP), corporate strategy reviews, and strategic initiatives
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and expansion analysis
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for new initiatives
Pre-IPO & Fundraising Support
- Support equity fundraising and pre-IPO preparation activities
- Assist in preparation of investor presentations, financial narratives, and valuation materials
- Contribute to due diligence processes with potential investors
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen IPO readiness
Investor Relations & Board Reporting
- Support preparation of board materials, investor updates, and management reports
- Assist in maintaining strong communication with current and potential investors
- Help develop a clear and compelling equity story for the company
- Coordinate investor meetings and follow-up communications
CEO Office & Strategic Execution
- Work closely with the CEO on high-priority strategic initiatives
- Drive cross-functional projects across business units
- Track key strategic KPIs and ensure execution of critical priorities
- Support ad-hoc strategic and transformation projects as required
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- 5–9 years of relevant experience in:
- Investment Banking (Corporate Finance / ECM)
- Corporate Strategy / Corporate Development
- Management Consulting
- Big 4 Deal Advisory / Transaction Services
- High-growth tech / e-commerce strategy roles (e.g. Shopee, Grab, Lazada)
- Exposure to fundraising, IPO preparation, investor relations, or M&A is highly advantageous
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a high-growth setting
