About the role

Are you a passionate catering kitchen professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? Kluang Station is seeking a talented Kitchen Commis/Chef for central kitchen/restaurant to join our team in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring the smooth running of our busy kitchen.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of Asian menu items to company standards
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene guidelines are strictly followed
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
• Providing excellent customer service to our guests
• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver a seamless dining experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a hot kitchen environment, preferably in the halal F&B industry
• Strong time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality food and an exceptional dining experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
