Job Purpose:

• Lead complex technical troubleshooting, key engineering projects, and the design, implementation, and standardization of processes and systems.

• Apply performance data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational capabilities across company.

• Drive technical excellence and system optimization to strengthen overall operational performance.

Job Requirements:

1. Deliver technical troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and production processes across sites.

2. Conduct root cause analysis on operational disruptions and recurring engineering issues to drive permanent solutions.

3. Execute cross functional engineering projects from design through commissioning in alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.

4. Develop project scopes, schedules, and resource plans while coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

5. Analyse manufacturing processes to identify and establish standardised equipment, systems, and procedural practices.

6. Design and implement integrated engineering solutions that optimise automation, workflow, ergonomics, and energy usage.

7. Interpret operational performance data (output, quality, downtime, energy, OEE) to diagnose bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

8. Apply continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC to enhance reliability and system efficiency.

9. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, HSE, and central functions (Procurement, IT, R&D) to align technical and project outcomes.

10. Document best practices and deliver technical training to enhance engineering knowledge and capability across sites.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.

2. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates may be considered.

3. Knowledge of troubleshooting methods for equipment, automation systems, and production processes.

4. Familiarity with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and basic process optimisation techniques.

5. Understanding of automation hardware and control fundamentals, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives.

6. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.

7. Competence in data collection, performance analysis, and the use of CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.

8. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and system integration or energy-efficiency concepts.
