About the role

The Senior Executive, Advanced Analytical will oversee advanced characterization studies using pXRD, PSD, Microscopy, DSC, TGA, and DVS. The role will provide analytical support to formulation development, method development and qualification, technology transfer activities, data interpretation, and generation of scientific documentation to support product development and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Shall perform advanced analytical characterization of pharmaceutical drug substances, drug products, and excipients using pXRD, PSD, Microscopy, TGA, DSC, and DVS techniques.
• Shall conduct solid-state characterization studies including polymorph identification, crystallinity assessment, phase transformation, and hygroscopicity evaluation.
• Shall develop, optimize, qualify, and validate analytical methods for advanced characterization techniques as per project requirements.
• Shall interpret analytical data, prepare technical reports, and provide scientific recommendations to support research, development, and regulatory submissions.
• Generate and review data required for dossier submissions, technical documents, stability studies, and product development reports.
• Ensure accurate documentation of raw data, instrument logs, calibration records, and laboratory notebooks in compliance with SOPs, GLP, GMP, and Data Integrity requirements.
• Maintain analytical instruments and perform routine calibration, performance verification, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices, quality systems, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, technology evaluation, and implementation of new characterization techniques.
• Complete all required SOP, GMP, GLP, Data Integrity, and safety training programs as per schedule.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safe working practices at all times.

About you

• 2-4 years related experience from Pharma, FMCG, and Healthcare industries (Senior Executive level will be 3 – 5 years)
• Proficient in Advance Analytical development technologies is added advantage.
• Strong industry-academia fraternity and business acumen to promote new technologies.
• Strong intrapreneurial skills and mindset from start up to established organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite
• Proficient in using software/tools relevant to the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry etc

Pay: From RM3,400.00 per month
