Role Overview
As a Finance Intern at iMotorbike, you will gain hands-on exposure to core finance and accounting functions within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with the Finance team to support day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and analysis — building a strong foundation for your future career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, statements, and management accounts
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
  • Help maintain and update accurate financial records in the accounting system
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities

Data Analysis & Support:

  • Assist in compiling and analysing financial data to support business decisions
  • Prepare spreadsheets, dashboards, and financial summaries for internal reporting
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Assist in ensuring financial records and documentation comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Help maintain proper filing systems for financial documents and audit trails
  • Support internal and external audit preparation as required

Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Participate in finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team on day-to-day operational tasks

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Internship duration: 3-6 months
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Pay: RM500.00 per month
