Job Title: Finance Executive (6-Month Contract)

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our Finance team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will support daily finance operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) activities.
• Process invoices, payments, staff claims, and journal entries accurately and timely.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules, reports, and analysis for management review.
• Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances where necessary.
• Assist in cash flow monitoring and treasury-related activities.
• Support audit, tax, SST, and statutory compliance requirements by preparing relevant documentation and schedules.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other relevant parties.
• Support process improvement initiatives and other finance-related projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic results and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work within tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
