JOB SUMMARY
The Program Executive serves as the key liaison between the company and its clients, managing the full sales cycle from RFQ through Purchase Order, while securing new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships within the aerospace industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage end-to-end RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, including reviewing customer requirements, coordinating with internal teams (engineering, production, quality) to gather costing input, and preparing accurate and timely quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with clients to secure Purchase Orders (PO).
- Attend meetings (virtual and on-site) with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Proactively identify and secure new projects/programs from existing and prospective clients to grow the company's order book.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Track and follow up on outstanding quotations, POs, and project milestones to ensure timely conversion and execution.
- Coordinate with internal departments (planning, production, quality, logistics) to ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are met.
- Monitor program/project status and proactively communicate any risks, delays, or changes to clients.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and account reviews for management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer programs, and competitor activities within the aerospace sector.
- Support contract review and negotiation, ensuring terms are aligned with company capabilities and policies.
- Participate in trade shows, client visits, and industry events as required.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace), or a related field.
- Proven experience (e.g., 2–5+ years) in a sales, business development, or program/account management role, preferably within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with RFQ, quotation, and PO processes, and general understanding of manufacturing/machining processes is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients at various levels.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills; able to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as cross-functionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings as required.
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
