Job Description:

1. Manage the overall operations of the Quality organization to attain maximum utilization of manpower and cost effective accomplishment of assigned functions in accordance with laid down policies and procedures.

2. Is entrusted the Organizational freedom and unrestricted access to top management to resolve quality management issues.

3. Lead both QA and QC Managers, ensure compliance with all applicable Quality policies, procedures and instructions promulgated in the Quality Manual System against all quality and quality related activities within SMEAe.

4. Undertake, through appropriate delegation, that SMEAe maintains liaison with the appropriate regulatory bodies, customer and OEM representation third party and Industry on quality matters.

5. Using solid analytical skills and solution driven thinking & tools; ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner and all customer protection issues and escapements are contained.

6. Be responsible for effective communications, written and oral, to the quality organization and the rest of the business where applicable and necessary.

7. Maintain continuity of the Quality organization through recruitment, deployment, training, coaching, counselling, disciplining and appraising job results.

8. Develop solid and rigorous processes that ensure SMEAe is compliant to all contractual specifications with regards to customer specifications and contractual obligations, including the products and services such as laboratory.

9. Ensure all activities are carried out ethically and responsibly and within the appropriate laws and regulations, advising the SLT and Board of Directors on all issues pertaining to such.

Experience:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, or metal fabrication industry is preferred.
• Experience handling customer audits, regulatory audits, and supplier quality management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
