Responsibilities

• Level 1 support (remote/onsite), maintenance, and resolution of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers, and other network issues within the organization.
• Vendor escalation for desktops/laptop hardware purchases, repairs, or software troubleshooting.
• Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions, and contracts.
• Involve and conduct regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency, and security.
• Analyse & evaluate system & users’ requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades.
• Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations.
• Proactively identify acquisition opportunities for new innovations for the organization.
• As part of the digital transformation initiative, work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects, or upgrades.
• Liaise with multiple vendors and stakeholders in resolving problems in the rolling out of new applications and ensuring that project delivery is on time.
• Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the IT department.
• Responsible for IT operations of network maintenance, database administration, application software, office personal computers & peripherals, managing users’ access for the company computerized systems, perform and verify backup of all servers, maintenance and oversee entire IT infrastructures.
• Lead and support IT implementation of new project/system and conduct IT training when required.
• Website update and maintenance.
• To manage and improve company business systems to ensure business continuity and zero downtime for the smooth and effective operation
• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Required skill(s): Communication (both written and verbal), Time management, Problem-solving.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting & leadership skills.
• Helpful personality, positive work attitude, and customer oriented.
• Familiar in VMWare, Windows Server & MS Office 365 administration tasks.
• Required Skill(s): Alibaba Cloud Server, VMware Server Engineer, O365 (email, share Point, Team and etc), Windows Server AD, Networking, Firewall, Core Switch, Manage switch, Aruba Controller, Sans Storage, DNS, DHCP Skill Set.
• Willing to travel when required.
