Job Description

The storekeeper is the person needs to know how to manage store and warehouse. He/She will be responsible for receiving & outgoing goods in Factory. To manage FG Parts in store/warehouse. He/She will involve with the stock count for the parts and key in into the system. As a storekeeper, you need to expertise for handling reach truck & forklift.

Responsibilities

• Supports the daily operations of the store/warehouse.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of inventory in stores/warehouse & ensure accurate system records.
• Responsible for assigning the daily work to the store assistant and measuring their performance.
• Prepare the products based on packing lists for customer orders.
• Responsible for all stock controls, housekeeping & weekly/monthly stock checks activities.
• Monitor stock levels and inform on stock shortages.
• To ensure the availability of inventory in the store all times.
• Coordinates with other warehouse keeper/PIC on any interbranch stock arrangement.
• Receives and inspects all incoming materials/products and reconciles with purchase orders/purchase requisition; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders/purchase requisition; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
• Ensure all the receiving goods been placed/stored in appropriate location.
• Receives and file documents; maintain record of approved document in appropriate files.
• Ensure good housekeeping in store/warehouse 5S.
• Reports discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and inventory to superior.
• To update and prepare monthly report on inventory to superior.
• To prepare daily delivery schedule to lorry driver and oversee driver travel log.
• To undertake any assignment as instructed by superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Must possess at least STPM/SPM/'O' Level or its equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar in warehouse
• Able to learn and handle the inventory system in 1 month time.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and proactive to report to supervisor daily.
• Able to work in a team.
• Good interpersonal relationship and communication skill, team plater and meticulous.
• Intermediate in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Outlook.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
