About the role

Asia Lab Manufacturing is seeking a Store Assistant to join our warehouse and distribution team. This is a full-time position based in Jitra, Kedah. As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our storage and distribution operations. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that products are stored safely, accurately tracked, and dispatched promptly to meet our operational requirements. This position is instrumental in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and contributing to the overall success of our supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming goods, verifying accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Organise and store products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage methods and systems
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems in real-time
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements
• Conduct regular stock checks and participate in physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy
• Identify and report any damaged or defective stock items to supervisors
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand pallet trucks and other material handling equipment safely and responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Support the warehouse team in meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets and deadlines
• Follow all company policies, procedures and safety regulations at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment is preferred
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely, including forklifts, hand pallet trucks and scanning devices
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
• Physical capability to lift, carry and move goods regularly, as the role involves manual handling
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to health and safety practices
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to work flexibly to meet warehouse demands
• Valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential
