We are looking for a responsible, capable, and committed individual to join our team as a School Cook & Nutrition Assistant, supporting the daily nutritional needs of our children while maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

This is a full-time on-site role for a School Cook based in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

The role is responsible for preparing nutritious daily meals for children and staff, including snacks, lunch, and tea, while ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation. The role also includes managing kitchen supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall daily operations of the school when required.

• Prepare and serve daily meals (snacks, lunch, and tea) for children and staff

• Ensure meals are nutritious, child-friendly, and prepared according to the school’s meal plan

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas

• Follow food safety regulations and proper food storage procedures

• Monitor kitchen inventory and manage food ingredients and stock levels

• Assist in food preparation for school events or special activities when required

• Support management with ad-hoc duties related to school operations when needed

• Malaysian citizen

• Food Handler Certificate is mandatory

• Experience in cooking, kitchen operations, catering, or related field preferred

• Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices

• Baking skills will be an added advantage

• Responsible, organised, and able to work independently

• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment

• Comfortable working in a preschool or child-focused environment

• Experience preparing meals for children or in childcare/school environments is an advantage

• Understanding of child nutrition and balanced meal preparation

• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment

• Warm, dependable, and proactive attitude toward daily responsibilities
