Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia for a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer. The role involves supervising daily construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The Site Engineer will monitor site progress, perform quality inspections, and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly. Responsibilities include preparing site reports, updating project documentation, and communicating effectively with project managers, consultants, and clients to support timely project delivery. Senior Site Engineers may also guide junior team members and contribute to planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of site operations.
Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment, with strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Experience in quality control, including inspection of works, verification of materials, and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Technical competence in structural engineering and civil engineering principles relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field; professional registration or working toward registration is an advantage.
• Experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in general contracting or similar construction environments; senior-level experience is an asset for the Senior Site Engineer role.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings, using basic engineering software, and preparing site reports and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time and resource constraints.
