Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on ACMV and building services projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical designs and CAD drawings, conducting site inspections, coordinating with project teams and vendors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. The role also involves supporting research and development initiatives, troubleshooting system issues, and contributing to continuous improvement in project execution and maintenance practices. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Shah Alam, where on-site work is required and some work-from-home arrangements are acceptable.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in ACMV or building services.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing mechanical layouts and drawings.
• Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of mechanical works.
• Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) activities, including evaluating new technologies and improving existing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and drawings, and to prepare clear technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in Shah Alam and surrounding areas as required.
