Responsibilities
About the Role
You'll be the go-to person coordinating sea freight import/export shipments. Talking to customers, shipping lines, and internal teams to make sure bookings, documents, and deliveries run smoothly.
What You'll Do
Bookings & Coordination
- Handle enquiries and bookings from customers and partners
- Register shipments in our system
- Keep relevant parties updated throughout the shipment journey
Documentation
- Check shipping documents are complete and correct
- Make sure special cargo has the right paperwork and approvals
- Upload documents to our systems on time
Problem-Solving & Communication
- Follow up proactively on emails and pending items
- Flag any shipment issues
- Help resolve billing disputes or queries
Reporting & Invoicing
- Prepare shipment reports for customers
- Send invoices and supporting documents
- Double-check shipment costs and invoices are accurate
- Support claims processes for any damaged or missing cargo
What We're Looking For
- Experience in sea freight or freight forwarding is a plus
