Role Description The Autodesk Trainer (Application Engineer) is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This role is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating Autodesk software training programs for clients and students. Daily responsibilities include conducting instructor-led training sessions, preparing learning materials and demonstrations, and customizing content to match participants’ skill levels and industry requirements. The Autodesk Trainer also provides post-training support, answers technical questions related to Autodesk applications, and collaborates with the sales and support teams to ensure training aligns with customer needs. The role involves staying current with Autodesk product updates, best practices, and certification requirements to maintain high-quality training standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engage diverse audiences.
• Candidates should possess Training and Instructor-led Training skills to plan, deliver, and assess effective Autodesk software courses.
• Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills to develop structured curricula, training materials, and hands-on exercises.
• Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge to understand software installation, configuration, and integration in engineering environments.
• Relevant Autodesk software proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Sketchup) and experience in engineering or design disciplines.
• Ability to work on-site in Damansara Perdana, Selangor, manage multiple training engagements, and adapt content for different learning levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills, customer-focused mindset, and willingness to keep up with new Autodesk features and industry trends.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; professional Autodesk certifications are an added advantage.
