• Prepare quotations, variation orders (VO), progress claims, and project costing.
• Carry out site measurements and prepare mechanical drawings/shop drawings.
• Handle project documentation, cost checking, and record keeping.
• Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and consultants.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring mechanical works to ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, work schedules, method statements, and related project documentation.
• Prepare material take-offs, material requisitions, and checklists before commencement of works.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure mechanical installations comply with project specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Maintain records of work completed, materials delivered, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan, safety requirements, and relevant engineering standards.
• Perform site valuation, measurements, and progress verification for claims and billing purposes.
• Assist in tender preparation, cost estimation, and Bill of Quantities (BQ) preparation for mechanical projects.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for completed mechanical systems.
• Able to travel to site, follow company instructions and work overtime, weekends or during emergencies when required.
• Responsible for material cost enquiry, prepare project cost/budget and coordinating materials, tools and equipment required for site works when necessary.
• Should present themselves professionally.
• Ensure compliance with relevant mechanical engineering codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Professional Certificate in Mechanical, Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a related field, or relevant working experience of min 1 year.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Having knowledge in using SolidWorks, Catia software, C++ coding, PLC programming and Arduino IDE.
• Must possess a valid driving license.
• Good attitude, responsible, hardworking, take good care of company property and able to multi-task.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and also as a team player, with good analytical skills, integrity, initiative, commitment, a sense of urgency and professional conduct.
