Full Time HSE Assistant Jobs, salary up to MYR 4,500 in Gapima Sdn Bhd Shah Alam - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• To support the development of Occupational, Health and Safety policies and programs.
• Assist SHO in managing the Safety and Health activities at site.
• Assist SHO in data entry, collection, collation, and safekeeping all HSE and Security documents to meet requirements of Safety, Health, Environmental and Security Data Administrations.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
• Assist SHO in recording and conducting investigation including preparing full report on all occurrences in any incident or accident which related to HSE and Security to determine the root cause and provide statistical information to the COMPANY.
• Assist SHO in conducting risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
• Assist SHO in initiating and conducting any HSE and Security training programs, activities, or promotions at workplace.
• Assist SHO in inspecting premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using proper protective equipment).
• Assist QHSE Officer and participate in ISO 9001:2015.
• Responsible to any duties/report as and when required by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in HSE field, preferably within the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry.
• Experience handling clients in industries such as Oil & Gas will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language proficiency is an advantage.
