Account Assistant

Job Summary

The Account Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations by ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded, petty cash is properly managed, and accounting documents are maintained in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the company's petty cash.
• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Verify invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and supporting documents.
• Process supplier payments and staff reimbursement claims.
• Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records and financial documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly and yearly financial reports.
• Prepare documents for internal and external audits.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least one (1) year of working experience in accounting. Experience in the transportation industry is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
