Overview
Our client, a leading FMCG and food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced General Manager – Commercial & Supply Chain to lead its commercial and supply chain functions. Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth, strengthening market presence, and ensuring an efficient end-to-end supply chain that supports the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall commercial and supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability and market share across domestic and regional markets.
- Lead the Sales and Marketing teams to achieve commercial targets and strengthen customer relationships.
- Develop branding, product positioning, pricing and go-to-market strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, market expansion initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics and distribution.
- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to ensure alignment between demand, production and supply.
- Optimise operational efficiency, cost, inventory and customer service levels.
- Monitor market trends, consumer insights and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and business performance to ensure delivery of financial targets.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline. An MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Commercial, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain within FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Consumer Products.
- Proven track record in driving commercial growth and leading business transformation.
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy, sales management, marketing, demand planning, procurement, logistics, distribution and supply chain optimisation.
- Experience managing P&L and delivering strong financial performance.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
