About the role

HC Business Solutions Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and growth-oriented Account Assistant to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to build a long-term career in accounting, taxation, company secretarial and business advisory.

• Prepare full sets of accounts and bookkeeping for SMEs.

• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Prepare management reports and financial schedules.

• Assist in tax, audit and statutory compliance work.

• Maintain proper accounting and corporate records.

• Work closely with senior team members on client engagements.

• Learn and utilise AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Participate in continuous process improvement and workflow enhancement.

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred (fresh graduates with strong learning attitude are encouraged to apply).

• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount or similar systems.

• Good command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Positive attitude, responsible and willing to learn.

• Comfortable adapting to new technologies, AI tools and digital workflows.

• Good communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
