Procurement & Operations Department Interns

We are looking for two (2) interns to join our Procurement & Operations Department at a Malaysian commodities trading company specializing in the import of coal and other energy commodities.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to international commodity trading, procurement, shipping, import/export operations, and supply chain management. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with the Procurement & Operations Manager and gain practical industry experience.

Responsibilities
* Assist in procurement and supplier coordination.
* Prepare and maintain shipment schedules and operational reports.
* Support import/export documentation and record management.
* Coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, surveyors, and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate data and reports using Microsoft Excel.
* Perform administrative and operational tasks in accordance with company SOPs.
Requirements
* Undergraduate currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
* Good command of written and spoken English.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
*Technical Skills (Must-Have)*
* Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and basic formulas).
*Bonus Skills*
* Basic understanding of Incoterms.
* Knowledge of Bills of Lading (B/L).
* Customs and import/export procedures.
* Vessel and shipping operations.
*Preferred Degree Background*
