MRKB Book Stores is looking for a responsible, customer-oriented, and motivated Retail Assistant to join our growing team. If you enjoy working in a retail environment and providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous manner
• Manage front counter and cashier operations
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions using the POS system
• Issue receipts, handle refunds, and process exchanges when required
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies
• Restock shelves and ensure product availability at all times
• Monitor inventory levels by assisting with stock checking and shelf replenishment
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism of the cashier area
• Support team members during busy periods and promotional events
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Adhere strictly to cash handling procedures and confidentiality standards
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification
• Friendly, responsible, and positive working attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic cashier or retail experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Working Hours:

• Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Noon Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Full Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
