The company is a reputable healthcare Fit-out Contractor seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to support its project and tendering operations. This hybrid role perfectly suits an engineer who thrives on the balance between on-site technical supervision and office-based structural calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the tendering team on ongoing projects, particularly on C&S scope — reviewing drawings and supporting cost estimation
• Read and interpret C&S drawings to perform material quantity calculations and take-offs (rebar, concrete, steel, etc.) for costing and procurement
• Support upcoming factory and industrial build projects, including material calculations from C&S drawings for budgeting and planning
• Conduct site visits to verify works, take measurements, and reconcile site progress against drawings and supplier claims
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and material matters
• Carry out other engineering duties as assigned by the superior

Additional Information/ Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A BEM-accredited degree is preferred, with eligibility to register as a BEM Graduate Engineer and work towards Professional Engineer (Ir.) status
• Ability to read C&S drawings and perform accurate material take-offs
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement (site + office) with own transport and a valid driving license
• 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred (Fresh graduates with strong analytical and calculation skills are welcome to apply)
