Job Description

Responsibilities

Range: RM2500 - RM3500

Location: Semenyih


Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Payroll Executive to manage the Company's end-to-end payroll process while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail, maintain strict confidentiality, and be able to communicate effectively with employees across all levels.


Key Responsibilities


Payroll Administration

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within the stipulated timeline.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, leave records, allowances, claims, deductions, commissions, and other payroll components.
  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with employment contracts, Company policies, and Malaysian labour regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute payslips.

Statutory Compliance

  • Process and submit statutory contributions including:
  • EPF (KWSP)
  • SOCSO (PERKESO)
  • EIS
  • PCB (Monthly Tax Deduction)
  • Ensure timely submission of all statutory payments and reports.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for internal management and external authorities.

Employee Records

  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and master data.
  • Update salary revisions, promotions, transfers, resignations, new hires, and other employment changes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.

Payroll Queries

  • Attend to employee payroll enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Explain payroll calculations, statutory deductions, leave balances, and other payroll-related matters.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare monthly payroll reports for Management.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain payroll documentation and filing.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and statutory regulations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls.
  • Support HR initiatives and other duties assigned by Management.

Job RequirementsEducation

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of payroll administration experience.
  • Experience handling payroll for medium to large organisations is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with payroll software

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Malaysian Employment Act
  • EPF
  • SOCSO
  • EIS
  • PCB / Income Tax regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
