Full Time MILL ENGINEER Jobs, in Keresa Mill Sarawak - Maukerja

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Mill Management in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the palm oil mill, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Proactive in process improvement, finding solutions and cost saving activities.
• Monitor and analyze mill performance data, including throughput, energy consumption, and product quality, and provide recommendations for process optimization.
• Conduct routine inspections of mill equipment and machinery, identify any issues or potential problems, and report them to the Management.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment availability.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mill efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems related to mill operations, such as equipment failures, process deviations, and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of operational activities, equipment performance, maintenance records, and any modifications made to the mill.
• Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
• 2 years’ experience in related field will be an advantage.
• Sarawakian fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as required in a palm oil mill operation.
• Based in Bintulu, Sarawak (remote area).
