We are looking for a Field Technician to be permanently stationed at KL International Airport (KLIA) during office hours. Your primary job is to make sure the monitoring equipment and sensors at the airport are in good working condition every day.

Think of this role as the first line of defence — you are the person on the ground who catches problems early, responds when something goes wrong, and keeps everything running until our specialist engineers arrive if needed. You will be supported by our remote monitoring team and have access to our in-house software tools and a dedicated company vehicle.

Full training is provided. You do not need to know everything on day one — we will teach you what you need to know about our systems. What we need from you is a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a genuine interest in technical fieldwork.

Roles of Field Technician include:

•     Walk through the equipment installations at the airport and carry out visual checks every morning

•     Verify that all monitoring equipment is powered on, connected, and displaying data correctly

•     Check our monitoring software to confirm all readings are within expected range

•     Record your findings in our digital logbook at the end of each inspection

•     Attend to fault reports during office hours — investigate what went wrong and attempt to fix it

•     Carry out basic corrective actions such as power resets, cable reconnections, and replacement of simple components

•     Report and document any faults that require specialist intervention and escalate promptly

•     Coordinate with our remote support team via phone or our ticketing app when you need backup
