Job Description

• Conduct supplier audits, technical assessments, and process evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics such as DPPM and OTD while driving supplier quality improvements.
• Act as the technical interface between suppliers, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead APQP and PPAP activities for new products and components.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D and A3.
• Develop supplier capabilities and improve manufacturing processes.
• Conduct supplier site visits and verify corrective action effectiveness.
• Promote continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and error-proofing techniques.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• A Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in electronic component manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience managing supplier relationships within supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or industrial engineering functions.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, PCB, electrical, or electro-mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Strong expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, GD&T, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20%-50%).
