Finance Accounting Manager (Contract) – Reporting & Controls

About the Role

Watsons Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Accounting Manager (Contract) to support financial reporting, Capex governance, fixed asset management, and financial control activities.

This role will be responsible for ensuring reporting accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of key finance activities while supporting business continuity across ongoing operational and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review sales target reporting and analysis.
• Support Capex reporting, monitoring and submission.
• Review Capex requests and adjustment documentation.
• Manage fixed asset creation and closure activities.
• Coordinate eInvoice manual requests.
• Review journals, invoices, reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
• Support month-end reporting and financial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with finance governance and internal controls.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience

Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
