About Us

We are a growing regional industrial solutions group operating across Southeast Asia. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Finance team.


Position Summary

The Accounts Executive will support daily accounting operations, account reconciliations and month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

This role is suitable for a hands-on accounting professional who is comfortable working with reconciliations, inventory movements, cost analysis and detailed financial records.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Perform reconciliations for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, bank transactions and carriage inward and outward.
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory records against the accounting system and relevant supporting documents.
  • Review inventory movements, stock adjustments, stock provisions and inventory valuation.
  • Support product costing activities, including reviewing material, freight and other related costs.
  • Analyse cost variances and investigate discrepancies relating to inventory and product costing.
  • Assist with stock counts and follow up on inventory differences with the relevant departments.
  • Prepare monthly accounting, inventory and costing reports and schedules.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by Management.
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting, inventory and documentation matters.
  • Support daily accounting operations and undertake other finance-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum LCCI Higher, Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in inventory accounting, costing or a trading, manufacturing or distribution environment would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
