CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Interns are enrolled in a qualified course program of either a Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Professional Certificate, Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 1 to Level 5 or equivalent under TVET programs in any relevant fields or disciplines.
• The recommended duration of an internship is a minimum of ten (10) weeks
• Interns are required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the SHE department to oversees Safety, Health & Environment implementation and OSHA Act new amendment compliances for all IOI Offices
• Assist in maintaining SHE guidelines, procedures and policies
• Assist the team for Environmental Management System ISO 9001 & 14001 compliance and audit preparation
• To conduct SHE briefing/induction to all contractors and vendors
• Assist SHE Department to conduct annual fire drills
• Assist SHE Department to conduct Safety Inspection/walk
• Assist SHE Department to check/inspect on contractor Safety compliances on site
• Assist SHE related records, documentation and reporting
• Involve in investigation and prepare report any accident, near miss, accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational disease and poisoning
• Assist on SHE monthly report preparation
• To have a vision for anything that can enhance SHE performance
• Perform general & specific Safety & Health related trainings/briefings and education program as part of the Safety, Health & Environmental awareness promotion

Job Competence Profile:

• Possess relevant knowledges in SHE matter such as risk assessment, safety audit/inspection, incident investigation, training, emergency responses, fire safety system, gas safety, machinery safety, environmental etc
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under minimum, supervision in fast pace environment
• Knowledge of authorities' regulations related to SHE

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM3,964.11 per month
