Job purpose

To lead and supervise all site works in the Rehabilitation project including Infra / Track / Drainage / Culvert / Fencing / the objective achieving the program and meeting health, safety, environment and quality objective.

Key and accountabilities

1.  Conduct site toolbox talks every day.
2.  Execute work site as per the Construction manager instruction.
3.  Responsible to supervise the company's own works and also Sub-contractor works.
4.  Responsible for Supervise all works.
5.  Responsible for preparing daily site Diary on daily basis.
6.  Manage all sites as per project requirements.
7.  Report daily site progress.
8.  Monitor all machinery in his custodian.
9.  Supervision and coordination of material in his control.
10.  Supervise all his works force with quality and efficient work.
11.  Supervision of track works setting out, geometry and clearance check,
12.  Supervision of Infra works (Ground treatment/ Drainage/ Fencing works).
13.  Checking and ensure of Contractors’ adequacy and competency of resources on–site and off-site.
14.  Take reasonable care for the Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare as per the Occupational Safety & Health Act, company policy   and OSH Management System.

Experience

1.  At least 3 years’ experience in railway construction with an advantage experience in any KTMB’s project.
2.  Previous PICOW experience in railways projects.

Education

1.  University or college certificate/diploma in engineering or equivalent.
2.  KTMB Permanent Way Inspector Certificate.

MYR 3,000 - MYR 5,000
